i bought this a few months ago

Until disaster struck and the engine went bang so it had now turned into project corsa... 

Plans ar simple and not over the top lol

gsi kit
colour code
And lower the coilovers abit more

Anyway as it was nice at the weekend thought id make a start and remove the old 8v lump

Also since it was good weather i though id start to underseal it to

Well this is how the car stands now lol

Gona clean the bay up and paint it up before the new engine goes in 

All i need now is to find a new engine which aint goin well so far

thats it fully undersealed  what a messy job to do i looked like a niggar after 

thought id clean up the bay whilst the engines out 
so desided to just underseal all up the bulkhead so it cant rot

 And gave the chassis legs and inner wings a freshen up with paint

 Went and got this today

I have an Mtec conversion kit already so i have everything needed for the redtop including a powercap,and the bulkhead is already cut for it to fit

still waiting for parts for the engine but while its apart thought id paint up a few things

 A GSI kit i had ordered had arrived

They will be getin put to the bodyshop asap and some more bits to help the handiling

 My exhaust arrived today

Ok at last some more progress managed to get the engine and box bolted in today to say it was a tight squeeze is an understatment lol looks tidy sitting in place though

Had some free time today so thought id tackle the wiring loom

Since i never actually removed the xe i had no ideaa what went where but soon got there in the end

So getting there lol

Still to do: all water pipes radiator etc
fuel ines
drive shafts
Ajust gear linkage

Got my dimma show cage today

Wiring and coolent pipes, fuel pipes done

Found out i am missing an importent part to make the engine run (ignition amplifer) which i wasnt given when i bought the engine 

So not best pleased

And then check everything to make sure its all tight etc

Everything conected up in the bay

 And is back on its wheels!!

 Managed to get an ingnition amplifier so fitted it and she fired up 

Still to make up an exhaust and gsi kit i away getting painted

Not much of an update but engines runing exhausts done started fitting the kit well front bumper

 Passed it's MOT and got all of the GSI Kit fitted

Not done much more except paint the door strips

And also got some guages to keep an eye on the engine

Next on the list is remove the lexar*e lights then will be of to the bodyshop after new year to get the body work finished off heres some pics off how it looks now
